What is the longevity of Bedrock R7000?

• At least 10 years for the Bedrock family of industrial PCs with the same form factor, software compatibility and functional compatibility

• Until 2026 or later for the 1st generation Bedrock 7000

Bedrock R7000 is the first generation Bedrock based on an AMD APU (CPU + GPU). SolidRun plans to introduce Bedrock models in the same form-factor and with identical or extended features once future APUs become available. These future APUs are expected to be software compatible with the current generation. This would allow SolidRun’s business customers seamless continuity of Bedrock deployment for over 10 years.

As of Jul-2023 the 1st generation Bedrock R7000 is guaranteed until 2026. SolidRun is actively discussing with its partners the possibility to extend the availability period of Bedrock R7000.

Does Bedrock R7000 include AMD Ryzen™ AI?

Ryzen 7840HS and 7840U include Ryzen AI IPU. Ryzen 7440U does not.
Also, Bedrock R7000 Edge AI can be fitted with up to 3 Hailo-8™ AI accelerators, for AI inferencing performance of up to 78 TOPS.
